Turnaround Time

Campaign planning typically takes one to two weeks, with campaign execution running one to two months. We recommend reaching out well in advance of your deadline to allow adequate time for planning, content production, and outreach coordination.

Planning Considerations

Effective campaigns require thoughtful coordination across many moving parts. When submitting a request, we’ll ask you to share details across the following areas:

• Purpose and Timeline: What is the campaign promoting, and what is the key deadline or event date? When should the campaign begin and end?
• Audience: Who are you trying to reach? (Undergraduate or graduate students, Faculty/Staff, Donors, Campus Leadership, General Public, etc.)
• Materials: What assets will the campaign require? (Social graphics, print materials, video, giveaway or logistical items, etc.)
• Channels: How will the campaign be distributed? (Social media, email, tabling events, local media, campus bulletins like eWeek, GradLinks, or iNews, etc.)
• Collaborators: Who will be partnering on this campaign? (Illinois International units, campus study abroad offices, other campus communicators, etc.)
• Additional Context: Any other details that would help guide the campaign planning process.
